image Kim, it is so wonderful to hear from you. You touched my heart! We also are blessed to have you in our family. You and Ken gave us a precious gift. "Hailey". And we also got an extra bundle of love, "Adriana". We made a lot of memories. I still have a hard time talking on the phone but I will call you soon. Stay happy. Life passes so fast. Enjoy every moment of your childrens lives.

I didnt know you for long. but I do know this When I picked you to be Hailey's Godmother I made the right choice. I know this about you, You were a loving wife and mother. You were a loving daughter. and a wonderful Aunt. I hope when My day comes I will as strong as you if you believed in saints you would be one. I know you were never selfish and always thinking of others. I feel lucky to have had your presence in my life. Thank you for all you have done for Hailey. I hope your mom will tell your story. Thank you for touching my life.

Love always,

Hi Lori!!!!!!!!

Thank you Lori! I hold close to my heart all the memories we made. You were and always will be a daughter to me. You could always make me laugh. Even in Kim's last days you did! I will treasure the night you came to visit. You really lifted us up and for a brief time we forgot where we were and why. The pictures you brought with you were great! You are a very special lady. We MUST stay in touch. I am sorry for all the time we missed over the years. I am so proud of the woman you have become. Thank your strict parents. :) They did a good job! I love you girl!

xoxoxo,

your other Mom

Kim's childhood friend

Wow....27 years ago in the 5th grade, Kim and I met. What a friendship we would have from then on! But also at 11 years old, Kim was the eny of my 5th grade graduation! I have shared this story so many itmes, but it is one that I will cherish as long as I live.

At Kim's house is where I loved to be. Sandy, who I call mom, was always there making sure we were having a good time and out of trouble. She was, as I would say the "cool" mom! Well I knew that was truly NO LIE, when our 5th grade dance came. I begged my mom and dad to let me wear pantyhose and shave my legs. Of course, I had the strick parents and they refused to allow that! At the dance, Kim showed up...and yeap...she had shaved her legs and had on pantyhose! And there I was... the dork of the group with her hairy legs and bobby socks. In addition, I was in a dress with bobby socks! HOW UNCOOL!

In that moment I was so envious of Kim. Her "cool" parents allowed her to be "cool" too.

From the 5th grade thru graduation, to adulthood, there have been so many memories. Happy, Sad, Stong and Weak, but this family was always one who made sure all the people who entered in their life, were family, regarless of bloodlines. Christ's love shown thru each of them, even when they did not realize it!

Thank you for the memoires, Kim! I will continue to uplift mom and have her smile with the many years of stories, I have of you and I as a young women.
